Coaching

Frequently Asked Questions

What is health & wellness coaching?

Health & wellness coaching is a collaborative, client-centered process that helps you clarify what matters most, identify your strengths and values, and create meaningful changes that fit your life. Rather than telling you what to do, coaching provides space to reflect, explore possibilities, and determine the steps that feel right for you.

What can I bring to coaching?

You don’t need to arrive with a clearly defined goal. You may be navigating a transition, feeling stuck, looking for greater balance, wanting to make a change, or simply sensing that something in your life could be different.

We begin with where you are and explore what matters most to you now.

What happens during a coaching session?

Our conversations are shaped by you and what you would like to explore. I will listen, ask thoughtful questions, and help you reflect on your strengths, values, priorities, and possibilities. Together, we may identify practical steps or experiments that you would like to take between sessions.

The process is collaborative and evolves as your needs and goals evolve.

What is the Lead From Within™ Coaching Experience?

Lead From Within™ is my six-session coaching experience designed to give you dedicated space to reflect, gain clarity, and begin creating meaningful change.

It includes a complimentary 15-minute introductory conversation, one 45-minute initial coaching session, and five 30-minute ongoing coaching sessions. The experience is generally completed over approximately 6–8 weeks.

What happens after the six-session experience?

Coaching does not have to end after six sessions. If you would like continued support, ongoing individual coaching sessions are available as your goals, circumstances, and priorities evolve.

How do I know whether coaching is right for me?

Coaching may be a good fit if you are ready to reflect honestly, explore possibilities, and take an active role in creating change. You do not need to have the answers—or even know exactly where you want to begin.

That is one reason I offer a complimentary introductory conversation. It gives us an opportunity to talk about what brings you to coaching, answer your questions, and determine whether working together feels like the right fit.

Is coaching the same as therapy?

No. Coaching is not therapy, counseling, psychotherapy, or medical treatment.

Coaching focuses on your present circumstances and the direction you would like to move, helping you identify strengths, clarify goals, explore possibilities, and take intentional action. If needs arise that fall outside the scope of coaching, I may encourage you to seek support from an appropriately licensed healthcare or mental health professional.

Do you give advice or tell me what I should do?

My role is not to prescribe a path for you. I believe meaningful and sustainable change is more powerful when it grows from your own values, strengths, insights, and priorities.

I may offer observations, questions, resources, or perspectives when appropriate, but you remain the expert on your own life and the person who ultimately decides what feels right for you.

Are coaching sessions virtual?

Yes. Coaching sessions are conducted live virtually, allowing us to work together regardless of your location.

How long are coaching sessions?

The initial coaching session is 45 minutes. Ongoing coaching sessions are 30 minutes unless otherwise agreed.

Is what I share during coaching confidential?

Yes. I treat our coaching conversations and personal information with care and respect. The specific terms and limitations of confidentiality are outlined in the Wellness Coaching Agreement provided before we begin working together.

How do I get started?

The first step is a complimentary 15-minute introductory conversation. It is an opportunity to share what prompted you to reach out, learn more about my approach, ask questions, and see whether working together feels like the right fit.

There is no need to have everything figured out before we talk.
